
This quilt was on my bed when I was a teenager. I used to lounge on it wearing my shoes. Now it hangs on a quilt rack in my bedroom. It was made by one of my great great (not sure how many greats) grandmothers and it is beautiful.

I think it's funny that you recall lounging on it with your shoes on... I'm assuming that you think of doing that now, and CRINGE--your great great probably would have wanted you to love it and be comfortable on it. What a treasure!

Gorgeous & I love the personal history. I'm wishing I had our old family afghan. Not much survives a family of 12 though. I have no idea where it is.
