My nephew Jamel left yesterday for Ethiopia (by way of Salt Lake City, Houston and Amsterdam). He is going to be there for three months doing some building at an orphanage and clearing land in a village. It will be a great experience for him.
Tonight I got email and this picture from Rick Egan, one of Robes' college buddies (they met working at The Daily Universe) who I guess saw Jamel in the Amsterdam Airport and took this picture of him eating a granola bar.

Note: Not so random. Rick emailed me again and he is traveling with them!
