We have hot socks. You fill a sock with rice, seal the ankle with a rubber band. ... and same process. We love them. But the rice starts to smell kinda burnt after a while. What's in your bean bag? It's SO dang cute!
You're bean bag is sooooo cute. I make mine out of flannel with rice--not personalized either! Robilyn just ordered four for her friends. Her mother-law is taking them to her next week. They would cost a fortune to mail!
Last night I was laying in bed and thinking of your bean bag. Dave had the FAN on because he was hot and I was buried under 2 comforters, 3 blanets and 1 sheet.
I have also used hot socks--mainly when at the hospital delivering Julian. I agree about the rice smell... You could mix and have a rice&bean bag and double up as food storage :).
I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

p.s. My guess: beans. ha
I might like this more than my 6'5" husband who keeps me toasty, but also takes up more than half of the bed! Cute bean bag and cute embroidery!
A fat kitty does the trick, too!

Your bean bag is SO cute! I wish my mom would personalize mine! I love it! It's -9 here today so I'll be heating it up soon! I LOVE that thing!
That's what I gave my neighbors too!

I've gotta get a bean bag!
