Holiday traffic
The first hour we went 16 miles (we were stuck behind an overly cautious driver and then sat on this highway). It was snowing and there were a few accidents on #91. My friend was nervous that I got out of the car to take this picture but I wasn't. Nobody was moving. It took us 4 1/2 hours to get home (150 miles). If you do the math, it was an extra 2 hours.

Wow! What a mess.
You guys are snowing up there already? We haven't had any yet.
Ugh. Was it as bad as that drive thru Beaver one year?
Glad you made it home.
Same thing happened to me. I had to go to Pittsfield yesterday and it took me 4 hours to drive home in the traffic, instead of 2. No fun!
I guess we take the bad with the good... pretty picture of yucky traffic!
atleast you were in good company. doing it alone is the WORST. Glad you are back safe and sound. What's next, NY? :)
Still a great picture.
Yes, Trav's M P was Gordon Brown and yes we talked about it a few years ago. But that's okay. Good Monday to you.
try driving down south to DC next time...we'll put on a Han family pageant just for you :)
Wow...where were you going??? Yesterday, driving home from So Cal (Disneyland) we were approaching Barstow and heard on the radio that the Space Shuttle was about to land at Edwards (30 or so miles from Barstow) so we took a detour -- having about an hour to see a once-in-a-lifetime event....needless to say...traffic was the pits and we missed it!!! ugh!
You take the best pictures. I can almost taste and smell them. Even your picture of traffic made me frustrated.
I can imagine how many times you went, "Uugghh!". (Which is the sound you make in even medium traffic)
