I've been tossing my change in this bottle for a while now. Not quarters; I hoard those for laundry. I finally took the change to the bank last night and dumped it in one of those machines that counts it for you. I was shocked at how much was in there: $52.69. Sweet. I got fifty $1 bills to use in case of an emergency (I figure a fifty dollar bill will be useless).

I need to do that! I swear the change multiplies at our house.
That's funny, in a coincidental sort of way. We were just talking about changing in our bottle of coins just so we can go on a date, but we decided to wait until it's full.
I always wonder how much is in there.
I've heard the same thing about having low denominations instead of huge bills. Who can break a $50 in a crisis?
Have you read 'Christmas Jars'? It's all about the things you can do with spare change.
It's amazing how fast the cash adds up. Smart having ones instead of a fifty.
