Grandma

A few weeks ago someone visiting our ward asked me how many grandchildren I had. Wow; I've never been asked that before, though I am old enough to be a grandmother.

Last Saturday while in Maine I saw this red (favorite color) high chair at one of my favorite antique shops and I fell in love (I used to sit in one just like this only yellow). Now I have a place for little friends (and future grandchildren) to sit!

No way. A very cool auntie, yes. But not a grandma. That high chair is great!

Hey EP-

I want to buy some photocards and I'm willing to pay for shipping/handling if you're willing to haul yourself to the post office. I would just email you, but I don't have your email address! If you want to sell some of your goodies you can find me at heather@parryweb.com.

A couple years ago I went with my sister to Kiddie Kandids to take some shots of her little girl and I was asked if I was the grandma. Fairly devastating--okay so maybe just embarrassing--as I am only in my early 30s! Love that chair.

what the?! you could be a grandma? that's so weird! i mean you just act so much younger than a grandma. so my question is, how does that high chair look so good? there's no way a kid used that thing! nice find.

Oh! I thought you already had one. I have a red one like that in my house sans tray.

That was a really rude question! You are at the age that many people in Boston are just starting to have children! Anyway, don't you think that visitor should have started with, "So, how many children do you have?" Maybe that would have taken care of the grandchildren question! I felt old the other day when I realized that I could be old enough (if I had been a teenage bride) to be the parent of a college freshman! Yikes!

What a find! It would look quite nice in my RED kitchen also! You definitely don't look old enough to be a grandma.
