While at work today I thought of all the errands I could run, books I could read, things I could sew, exercise I could do, projects I could work on and fun I could have if I was a Stay At Home Gal.
We could have lots of fun doing SAHG projects together! We'll have to settle for late night projects I guess. How was sewing club? I went to book group which was fun.
Those things are very fun...but, you have to be a disciplined SAHG to accomplish those fun things. I have many unread books, unfinished projects I would love to do but can't because I forget, or, because there is a baby screaming for mommy. I wonder what it would be like if I were to be a GTWG (Gone To Work Gal)?
If only my three children weren't around, I could do lots more! I keep asking Kyle to take them all away on a trip and leave me home alone. That would be the ultimate vacation. Well, almost!
I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

I can totally relate--I think of that at least once a week!
