Topsfield Fair--America's oldest

An hour of bumper-to-bumper traffic. Ten dollar parking. Twelve dollar entry fee. Fair food everywhere. Rides. Tickets. Prizes. Blue ribbons. Biggest pumpkin. Cows. Pigs. Rabbits. Turkeys. Crafts. Flowers. Quilts. Kitchen gadgets you can't live without. Ferris Wheels. Corn dogs. Fried Dough. And the best people watching ever!

That looks so cool! We hardly ever get to the fair because it costs a small fortune with 4 kids!!

You need to write a book -- or just create a photo book -- you are quite talented blogger queen.

been to a LOT of New England fairs, but sad to say I've never been to Topsfield! It looks and sounds fun! (Except for the bumper to bumper traffic)

You capture the most beautiful shots of living life. You have a great eye.

Fairs are so much fun and yours looks like a really big one. We have a nice sized fair every year around the first week of August. It is owned by our County and we volunteer to help at different things to run it by people locally. They added a new ride that the kids love. The 4-H kids show and sell their animal projects at the fair every year and display and judge the various projects they have been working on. The projects vary from sewing clothing to cooking and canning to rocket building and etc. The adults can participate also. My grandsons had a great time at the fair this year. We always look forward to the fair.
