Don't feed the animals
Some friends went on vacation for two weeks and I offered to water plants, bring in their mail and make sure everything was OK at their house. The night before they got home I left them some milk, bread and fruit so they wouldn't have to rush to the store. They brought me a bag of these cookies from the wild west (you can't get them here).
My friend sent me this email: You're so nice. Thanks for the milk, berries!! and bread. Thanks for watering stuff and feeding the sea monkeys! : ] We're rested now, and eating toast.
SEA MONKEYS?!? I TOTALLY FORGOT TO FEED THE SEA MONKEYS!!!

Ah hah!
This is useful information.
I know how to take a hint.
:D
I had no idea that you can't get Circus Animals in the East. The things you take for granted . . .
I totally forgot about those delicious circus animals, I can't believe you can't find them here. Another thing to pack besides my special flour.
We just polished off a bag of those cookies this weekend! YUM!
And that is hilarious about the sea monkeys!
Those are Scott's all-time favorite animal cookies. I found them at a grocery store in New York City a few weeks ago. But yeah, you can't find those at Market Basket.
That is funny. Guess what, I was craving those VERY SAME cookies last week. I bought a bag and was very proud of myself for making them last 6 whole days. Can't get them in the East? That is crazy! They are abundant here in the West.
What on earth is a sea monkey, and who has them?! Another thing you can'[t get out here- cinnamon bears!
You can't get those back there?! How do you ever survive?! We'll know what to bring when we visit...
Circus Animals are my favorite! Lucky you:)
Those cookies always make me SICK because I have no self control and over indulge!!! They do remind me of UT, but I have been able to get them down here in GA. GA or SK?
SK SK!
I found them in MIchigan at Sam's Club for a while. Thanks for reminding me about two things I missed when living east of Uah ... they also don'thae See's Candy. What a loss!
I fear that when I take care of my dad's birds, I'll kill one or one will get out and be flying around the room until he gets home.
You're funny!! Love catching up on what's going on in your life and makes me miss Boston in the summer.
rock on
Jeremy and I were just looking for those at the store the other day. We figured they were just all out, but it is kind of sad to know that we will never be able to buy them here :(
oh, you're so right! i haven't seen these cookies in ages. i hope they were as delicious as i recall.
