I know this is weird to hear from a COMPLETE stranger, but I was just on Pioneer woman's site entering her give away and I saw your song..Stairway to Heaven....played at church dances....in the 70's.....last song of the night!
Talk about a song taking me back to the 70's as well. I lived in California in the 70's. ( I had a boyfriend and when I was at girl's camp he had written every word to the song on a piece of binder paper and sent it to me..I was in "heaven".) I went to stake dances in Stockton and that was the last song a lot, along with Please Come To Boston and I Honestly Love You too.
I am so glad that those birds' nests are down before Commencement. I was convinced that one of them was going to poo on my head. Or peck my eyes out. Or poo on one of the Corporation members. I would so end up being the one having to get the bird poo out of their regalia.
I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

Where were you living in the 70's?
If he knew how good you baked he would be offering to come over!

pppsssssst .... I was so excited to see that you stopped by my blog! Happy sigh.
I'm thinking I could use a window washer as well. Also someone to paint the outside of my house.
Yup, he'd be perfect for Muzzey High's high windows --- for Eileen too.
