My mom has had both of her hips replaced (one in 1997 and the other in 2002). She called me tonight to tell me that yesterday one of them popped out -- again -- for the fourth (or fifth) time. They called 9-1-1, went to the hospital, and the doctor was able to get it back in place (OUCH!!!).
I'm hoping it's the last time Nan has to do the hip pop.

- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

EWW, yeah that happens sometimes. If I was Nan I would get a follow up/second opinion. May be the components are the wrong size and calibur. ?? Hang in there Nan. Carla from Georgia

Oh my! That happened to my father-in law many times after he lost weight. It is so painful. I'm so sorry Nan. I hope you feel better soon.

When I read Nan with hip pop, it sounded like Nan does hip hop! No hip hop for you, Nan! Not until your hip won't pop doing the hip hop!
