I met my cousin's delightful daughter Jamie in December of '06 while we were both visiting New York City. She immediately called me her "2nd aunt". She flew into town this morning and will help her brother Tyler drive home to Denver (he's been working in Boston this summer). We spent the day in Maine. Tyler and Jamie are really cool and we had lots of fun on the abbreviated (no L.L. Bean) Ellen Patton Tour of Maine.
i love your pictures. if you ever make it down to ny again, you should come take pictures of piper. i'd love to see what creative things you could do with her :)
Brand new Cabela`s just south of Portland in Scarborough, ME... great substitute for LL Bean.
The 125,000-squarefoot store is located just off Exit 42 on the Maine Turnpike, just a few miles south of Portland and located near the intersection of Route 195.
I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.
