My friend was over tonight cutting hair at the "EP Salon". I told a few funny stories including this one while she was cutting and coloring hair(s).

- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

Once when me and my (former) hubby went to the barber to get his hair cut ... I hopped up into the chair because my overly long bangs were bugging me.
Oh my.
hack hack hack.
I cried! It was one of the very rare times I went off at a service provider.
Poor guy.
OK Ellen, did you ever have to go to Otis , the barber, while visiting GRP and GRM in SLC? that was a real treat. I asked my mom why we had to go, and her reply was, "It made them happy"..what about my hair?!!!

I told my 5 year old we were geting a color and cut a couple months ago. She said, "I am so excited! I'm goig to get pink!" It was then I told her the color was to cover my grey and her's was fine!. She did get glitter hairspray though.
