My friend Kate is visiting today (they moved away from Boston about 7 years ago). We ran a few errands this morning and went by my favorite bakery; Lyndells in Somerville. They have the best chocolate eclairs I've ever had. I bought a dozen of the small eclairs and have been grazing on them all day. Everything I've had there is delicious. I thought these Christmas cakes were cute.

YUM! I love eclairs, they are my favorite. It is the one thing I wanted at my bridal shower, and my awesome sister made it happen, even though the shower was months before originally planned!
Does Lyndells have any blue Christmas items?

I've always been too scared by the quantity of decorative frosting on the window displays to try anything there. They look like supermarket cakes on steroids. How are their non-eclair wares?
My Favorite Bakery: Joseph`s in South Boston. Buy some treats then go eat up at Castle Island.
