Just when things were going perfectly (cough, cough), now my toilet won't flush. But, until I can get someone over here to help me fix it, lucky me, I've got TWO toilets!

- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

Bummer that your toilet is broken. But, congratulations on having one of the most sparkling clean toilets I've ever seen! (at my house anyway.....)
Phew! I thought you were going to tell us you had been 'worshipping' that thing! And wow--that toilet IS mighty clean!
same here...I thought you were going to say that you had the stomach flu - DON'T DO THAT to me. :) Good luck getting your toilet fixed and thank goodness you have another one.
Once Quinn found a toilet that someone was discarding. He used it to ask a girl to prom. He put it on her porch with a note that said, "If you've got to go, please go with me." It worked!
I've never seen a better photo of a toilet - those things can be hard to photograph in a non-disgusting way. Ditto to Jenny and Becky - don't frighten us!
Having two toilets is the key to happiness. At our last house, we (the five of us) only had one bathroom but luckily we lived two doors down from the library so that was our backup loo. Luckily the kids were all old enough to run there *and* the librarians really liked us.

"who is it?"
"it's me! I need to go"
"go to the library!"
