I was talking to my niece Adrienne last night on the way home from work. She asked if I would will her some of my diaries so she could read things about her dad (she would also like my red refrigerator). I am flattered. I remembered I had written something about her dad in my very first diary and dug the cover-less battered book out of my crawl space tonight.

LOVE THIS!!!
good for you for journaling~
That is so cute, and it's the year I was born!
I think that is sweet that she wants your diaries because of her dad. She must be smart too, if she wants your red fridge. I love it!
Ellen, that is so funny and I'd like your red refrigerator as too.
Dear Ellen,
Tease back. But always wink.
(LOVE that she wants your diaries! What a great thing)
I really want to know what the diary said back. If I were to guess it would say, "Move out now. It will never get better. John will always be incorrigible."
That is so sweet! I think I wrote the same thing about my brothers!
Dang it! She beat me to the fridge.
Ah well, with brothers just blame everything on them. That way they get in trouble ;)
You're lucky you still have your journal! My younger brothers stole mine and advertised the contents (including the name of my summer crush) to their neighborhood friends. Oh, the humiliation!
