I spent the day in Maine...

...with these lovely ladies. They LOVED Maine (I knew they would). We ate at the Lobster Shack (in Cape Elizabeth), shopped (they put the shop in Shop 'til you Drop), saw the Bush Compound, two lighthouses, and the beautiful coast. On the way home we stopped at Mike's Pastry in the North End and I showed them some Boston/Cambridge hot spots. And they got the grand tour of my condo.

Sounds like a wonderful day to me! I'll have to remember the Lobster Shack for future reference. I had a job for one year in 1986 that took me all over the country, including my only venture into Maine in the first 57 years of my life. I tell you this to give you a laugh. The business I was assigned to visit was in Kittery. That is what I saw of Maine. When it was time for lunch, my hosts asked me what I was in the mood to eat. "I'm in Maine, where can we get some lobster?"

I was surprised to find the answer was across a bridge in New Hampshire.

I'm still hoping to eventually make trip 2 to Maine, what would it take to recruit you to be the tour guide for Willyne, the Ragozzines, and me?
