I know what Marion's having for dinner.

Just try to stop her
I attended a lunch today with some older ladies (older than me). One of the ladies named Marion asked if she could take her salmon home with her (I heard her exclaim that she thought the salad was the main course). The manager had to tell her a few times that she wasn't allowed to because of food code regulations. It was obvious Marion was not happy with that answer so when the manager left the room she dug a kleenex out of her bag and slid the salmon onto it and wrapped it up. Then she pulled out a ziploc bag, removed the contents and dropped the salmon into it. She showed them!

Please tell me this happened at an MIT lunch!
Seriously? I've never been denied a doggie bag. I should totally keep a ziploc in my purse for that though.
I know what she's having for dinner too - food poisoning! Or at least, a little extra fiber, via soggy stuck-on Kleenex, to go with that reheated fish. Mm mm mmm mmmmmmm.
sorry, but that just sounds so gross to me..... i hate leftovers in all their forms
Hilarious! My grandma did the same thing, but she would take the rolls/bread. We still laugh about it.
Just try.
My favorite grandmother heist was a piece of pie--wrapped in kleenex and stuffed in her purse. No ziplock!
And when my grandmother would get a headache in the grocery store, she'd help herself to the tylenol! In her purse it went... (BEFORE we checked out)
