Ice pack

Sometimes I put a bag of peas on my finger at night to help with swelling. It works. But the peas are mushy in the morning and go right in the trash. Almost three weeks after my surgery I've still got swelling, PAIN (well, discomfort), and stitches. The doctor said it was in a "tension spot". No duh, doc. I'm so over this finger thing.

So sorry that you have still got pain etc with that finger. Should it be healed by now? Hope it is better soon, very soon.

I'm sorry about that. I can't imagine why it is taking so long to heal.

I see that most people are very concerned with your finger. But me? No. I can't stop thinking about those mushy peas. You could put a moistened (not dripping) cloth in a ziploc bag and keep it in your freezer. You could probably even wrap it around that bum finger and toss it back in the freezer in the morning...just a thought.

Those darn injuries!

Dave likes to use frozen corn on his arm.

Hope you feel better soon!
