R A G N A R

The Ragnar relay is this crazy 176 mile 24 hour 12-person-team relay race.  This weekend it was on Cape Cod.  Each team has to supply three volunteers and when my friend asked if I'd help out, I jumped at the chance and signed up for the 9pm-1:30am shift Friday night (those are my best hours).  There were three jobs we rotated through; standing on the road and asking runners their team numbers as they ran by (most had headphones so I had to ask a few times) and radioing them in, getting the runners' numbers and yelling them out so the next runner could get ready to go, and marking down what time the runners left Exchange #18.  It was one of the most fun things I've ever done. I told my friends next year I want to drive the van all night.
