I recently got myself a Costco card (does that mean I'm a real grown up now?!?). It's nice to not have to rely on my personal shoppers. I've been getting photo reprints done there and so far, so good.
Rule #1--never use a cart. I only buy what I can carry myself which is 2, maybe 3 things.

my card should be arriving in the mail any day now and in my head i am still justifying getting it. i think i'll have to stick to your rule too. it'll probably save me some lbs. and $$$.
