Erin Duke's wedding
This is definitely one of my favorite photos that I took today. Erin and Brandon are a striking couple and obviously crazy about each other. It was nice to be part of their special day. More photos to come.

Sushi class
Rei, Michiko, and Kaori showed 18 women in the ward how to make sushi tonight. This was my creation and it was delicious (and dinner).

Why Vermont is so beautiful
It's because it rains. A lot. And at every ward campout. This year it barely drizzled (which was nice). I tell everyone that the reason Vermont is so beautiful is because of the rain. [I liked this photo better in black&white...sorry you can't see how green it is.]

Cute campout story
I said, "I need to take a picture of Jared in front of the Jared cabin" and Joel said, "and one with me, the brother of Jared."

Count Your Blessings
Last Sunday during Relief Society I looked to the far side of the room during the closing song "Count Your Blessings" I and watched my friend Brie during the chorus while holding her baby Savannah right up near her face -- singing to her and smiling.
Count your blessings; name them one by one.
Count your blessings; see what God hath done.
County your blessings; name them one by one.
Count your many blessings; see what God hath done.
It was so touching to watch. And so sweet. And another reminder of the things I can see when I'm sitting in front of all the sisters in our ward.

Customer Service
Last week I went to Market Basket and bought a watermelon for $5.99 (for this party) and when I tasted it, it was horrible; honestly the worst watermelon I've ever had. Someone suggested I take it back to the store but it was already in the garbage (before the party even started!). As I was walking out of Market Basket last night with my groceries bagged in my cart I walked by one of the managers and remembered the nasty watermelon. I backed up and told her about it and that I didn't have my receipt and she said, "Go get another one." I said, "Really?" And she said, "Go get another one and get one that doesn't have much yellow on it."
And that's why I heart Market Basket.
