If you move into the Arlington Ward there's a good chance that you will get a visit from me and a copy of The Ellen Patton Packet. The packet includes some great articles about Boston (most are from the Boston Globe), brochures of places to visit in New England (there are LOTS of fun things to do in New England), and 3 of my (beautiful) photocards.
I visited a new couple early this afternoon and enjoyed getting to know them.
Just like all the others, they were pleased to receive The Ellen Patton Packet.

I have fond memories of our Ellen Patton packet! You mailed it to us in Provo because we first met you during our househunting trip a few months before we actually moved out there. (Remember the "White Trash" party at the Romanos'?) I was really reluctant about moving, but your packet made us feel like there must be SOMETHING to love about Boston... and you were right!
I just hope someday we can move back to New England. Sigh... If we do, can we get an Ellen Patton Packet, 2nd Edition?
The Romanos have gotten 3 packets so of course you can!
I would be lost without my "Ellen" packet! We let all our visiting company look at it and have had some great trips. I love it!
I hate to admit this online, but I think it might be the only way I can get my own packet! My name is Tadd and I have never received a "welcome to Ellen's world" packet! I did get a delicious cookie this evening and wondered when I could get another one? When we get back from RI can we get a packet? Finally, when are you coming down here? We miss you!
