So there I was standing at the counter at Baja Fresh ordering my two fish tacos and a small drink (free refills). I had my debit card in hand and looked at the total on the register and it said $350.25!
I wanted 2 fish tacos not 145 of them.

Tonight while I was out with the kids, I bought a 4-pack of juice boxes. I had to open it up and give 3 of the juice boxes to the kids ... so when I got to the cashier, I informed her that there had been FOUR in the pack, but now there was only one.
She misunderstood (or was trying to take me for a ride), and ran each of the juice boxes up separately. My bill came to $8.00. I actually told her "Are you KIDDING ME?! You think that these things cost $2.00 a piece?! I wouldn't pay $8.00 for a drink, myself!!!"
What really surprised me is that she must have thought I was fibbing and had to go look at the stand and verify that indeed, a four-pack of 8-oz juice cartons, costs only $2.00.
All I can say is it's a darn good thing we are savvy shoppers and pay attention!
