Emmett is 3!!!

My friend Emmett is 3 today!  A week from Saturday there is a PARTY for him.  I'm looking forward to celebrating his birthday and that he has finished chemo.

Hawaii time

This clock at the mall tonight reminded me of my niece who is at BYU-Hawaii.  The six hour time difference is kind of a killer for keeping in touch by phone.

Food, friends, stories (oh the stories!) and lots and lots of laughs until 2:30am.  It doesn't get much better than that.  I haven't laughed that much in a long time.  Yessica is the life of any party (she should do stand up comedy!).  It's always great  to have Jenn back in Boston.

Corey&Zenda

This is Corey (one of my new favorite friends) and her mom Zenda who is visiting from Montana.  I talked to Zenda at the Clambake on Saturday and she is delightful and really funny.  I emailed Corey last night and asked if I could take some photos of them together and went over tonight after work.  I loved capturing their love and friendship.

I drove down Follen Road today for the first time in months and I had a feeling that the White's house was going to be gone and I was right.  It had been empty since they moved and now it's gone.

I showed you how to eat a clam.  It's easy; just take that top part off (the "turtle neck sweater" as Brian calls it), dip it in the broth, then the melted butter and quickly eat it.  Don't talk about it.  Don't spend too much time examining it.  Don't ask questions.  You like clam chowder, right?  It's just a clam.
