I have a lot of journals.  Like probably 4 Rubbermaid bins full.  And I haven't really written much in the last 20 years.  I decided recently that I want to burn them (maybe I can lease the fire pit in Danielle Harrell's backyard).  Don't try to make me change my mind -- nobody wants this drivel and I don't have kids I can pass them on to!  I've been reading through them, taking some photos of pages, typing up snippets and sending them to family and friends, and rolling my eyes at how many times I said something was NEAT.  And being embarrassed that I was so desperate for Brad to invite me to Mormon Night at Disneyland (and he didn't).  Anyway, I'm glad I recorded so much of my life and today I'm recyling some of the pages.  #epkeepsitreal #thesejournalsareembarrassing

Madi Knight's Legacy

Madi Knight's parents each talked about 4 of her characteristics at her funeral in February.  I wanted to make a printable so we could all remember her legacy and my talented friend Alexa Zurcher designed these.  I LOVE them!  Today would be Madi's 13th birthday and I'm thinking of her amazing legacy and sending lots of love to her friends and family.  I'm happy to email the files--let me know if you're interested.  #tendertimes #bostonfriendsarethebestfriends @jrocknight

Judy's birthday

One of my best days ever was the day I spent in Queens with a van full of friends helping with clean-up after hurricane Sandy.  Judy Pate was there and she was such a good worker.  She ripped up a hardwood floor in no time.  Judy's birthday is today.  I miss her.  I miss our candid conversations.  I miss her zest for life.  I miss visiting her.  She passed away from cancer 2 1/2 years ago.  #arlingtonwardfriendsareforever #cancersucks
