TBT: Four Corners

The summer I turned 13 my Girl Scout troop spent a week at the Circle K Ranch in Delores, Colorado. We traveled by bus (in our uniforms) and stopped at Four Corners -- where Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona meet.  My mom was a chaperone.  We went to Mesa Verde, Telluride, and rode horses every day (my least favorite part).  That and having tonsillitis.  It turns out the family that owned the ranch was LDS.  It was a fun and memorable trip.  #girlscouttroop1818 #pattonmemories #fourcorners

Avocados

It's all about timing with avocados.  I had three families over for dinner Sunday night and made the California Pizza Kitchen BBQ chicken salad.  I bought 4 avocados earlier in the week but worried they wouldn't be ripe so bought 3 more at the end of the week.  I should probably just buy 2 every week.  #firstworldproblem

This morning I had a work breakfast at Henrietta's Table in Harvard Square.  The food was really good and I loved the decor.  That green speaks to me.
