Heavy antique

When I was in Portland with my dad we walked by a store called City Home on our way to Powell's.  On the way back I stopped in and they had lots of cool antiques and vintage-y items.  This drawer caught my attention (mustard is my second favorite color) and I bought it.  Then I picked it up and it was HEAVY.  I weighed it when I got back to my dad's apartment and it literally weighs TEN POUNDS.  So I shipped a box of things to myself (for an undisclosed amount of money--let's just say I should have passed on the drawer).  But it's cool.  #treatmyself

Sew much sewing

Red trash can

When I bought my condo 12 1/2 years ago I splurged and bought myself this trash can. My niece was in town helping me get settled in and I remember Adrienne telling me that her mom would “never spend $50 on a trash can.” I’ve noticed the last few days the pedal wasn’t working right so I turned it upside down to see what I could do to fix it. I couldn’t see anything but when I went to put it back in its place I saw a screw on the floor. I turned it upside down again, got a screwdriver and now it works just fine. I sprayed it down with window cleaner and it is practically brand new. If/when I update my kitchen this year I might update my trash can but honestly I might not need to. And you know how I feel about antiques. #epcondo2018 #epfixingstuff

America's most convenient bank---not today!

Someone tried to use my debit card to buy $400 worth of clothes in the OC so the bank cancelled my card.  I went to 2 branches today to get a new card and their machines weren't working.  I didn't leave with a new debit card so I got some cash and grabbed a handful of suckers.  They have a big sign that they are America's most convenient bank.  Not today! #epishassled
