Kate Harrison Getzschman: 1977-2016

My friend Kate passed away this morning in LA from cancer.  I met her 20 years ago when she was a teenager and visiting her sisters who lived in my ward.  She's one of my most talented, loving, and funny friends.  I feel lucky that I got to see her here in October.  And that she enjoyed some cookies I sent to her recently.  I'm heartbroken for her family; especially her husband and two young daughters.  #andimtiredofyoungpeopledyingfromcancer
