TBT: postcards at camp

One summer growing up, scout camp and girls camp were the same week. We had "mail call" everyday at lunchtime and Sister Swan, the camp director (who was in our ward), would stand on a chair and call your name if you got a letter. One day six girls in our ward got postcards...from six boys in our ward. Sister Swan read them all. Out loud!! They were really funny and embarrassing and I only remember what one of them said: "You are the Queen of Hearts in my deck of cards." This is a photo of the six culprits (clockwise from the top left): Brian Weisbarth, Brad Royal, Steve Arbuckle, Stephen Duford (my postcard was from him), Robert Patton, and Danny Hirschi. My mom was behind the clever prank. She provided the scouts with our camp address and probably gave them each a postcard stamp! ‪#‎vannuysthirdward‬ ‪#‎pattonmemories‬‪#‎iamsureihavemypostcardsomewhere‬ ‪#‎ikeepeverything‬
