Museum of Fine Arts

Tonight we went to the Museum of Fine Arts to see the Quilts and Color exhibit.  I only had 5 quarters which got us one hour of street parking; enough time to see the quilt exhibit, the new wing of the museum (I love the bold colors on the walls), the Impressionist paintings (Adrie loves Van Gogh's work) and the gift shop. It was fun to be in the city and spend time at the museum.  The MFA is free Wednesday nights (it's OK to say "no thank you" when they ask if you want to make a donation).

Throwback birthday

I still remember that day and how sad I was when the wind blew the candles out on the cupcakes over and over.  #myfirstfirstworldproblem

Amazing Lena

I got to spend some time with Lena today.  She's amazing.  It was great hearing about her life and travels.

Good dad

I often see this father and daughter walking to school when I drive to work.  She is always on his shoulders.  And she is always smiling.
