My brother Robes did a journalism internship in New York City before his senior year at BYU. He bought a small journal at Macy's for $1.00 and wrote almost every day about his adventures. He lived in the dorms at Columbia and worked for United Feature Syndicate (I think). I read this journal every few years. I love his writing style, his candid observations and his descriptions of his adventures and people he met. Museum buddies

I went to the JFK100 exhibit with Mary Staples and her boys.  It was fantastic (her boys and the exhibit).  #10years100items #JFKMuseum

JFK100 exhibit

The JFK100 exhibit at the JFK Museum is really cool.  There are 100 items (genius!) in honor of what would have been his 100th birthday this year.  These are some of my faves.  I love the handwritten notes from his first full day as President so basically it's JFK's Twitter feed.  #jfk100 #jfkmuseum

New friends

One of my social media friends reached out to me this week asking if I'd visit her sister-in-law who is from out of town and with her baby at MGH while he is in the PICU.  I stopped by tonight and had a really nice visit with Lisa--my newest friend.  Adorable Harrison is improving and he liked the giraffe I made him.  Meeting them was the highlight of my day.  #makenewfriends

TBT: Sankaty Light

Almost 9 years ago I went to Nantucket for the first (and only) time.  I was obsessed with finding this striped lighthouse.  We took a cab there and walked probably a half mile to a bus stop and then took a bus back.  I'm sure my friends were annoyed but I had to see Sankaty Head Light.  I have lots of fun memories from that day.  #ack #episalwaysramblingaroundnewengland #ineedtogetbacktonantucket #shootfilm
