Proud friend

The Trimbles moved here for Zac to go to MIT. While they've been raising two nice boys, Zac has finished his Ph.D. (today) and Amy finished her bachelor's at Wellesley (last Friday). They are inspiring and I'm so proud of them. They've got a bright future ahead of them.

Wow - that gives me hope that I might (someday) graduate. Congratulations to both!

So great! I thought she wasn't going to be done for another year. I'm glad they finished together.

Your Arlington Ward sounds fun. You meet great people, they come get an education, they leave. That part is sad, but then you get to meet new great people who are attracted to the universities there ...

Reminds me of growing up in Brentwood Ward in the 60s. We jokingly called it UCLA 2nd Ward for the same reason, we got a lot of the married students working on graduate degrees, the actual UCLA Ward got more of the single students working on their first degrees.

Glad to see education alive and well and spawning lifetime friendships!
