About Me
- ellen
- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

That is a pretty cool deal! Turning 60 and being born in 60. I think I will keep that in mind when I turn 62. Did you ever do the golden birthday thing? Did I make that up, I don't know. Maybe a friend made it up or told me about it. She said that whatever your birth DATE was, when you turn the age that matches that DATE, that is your golden birthday. I had mine when I was 26. I blogged today after not blogging in forever. I might do it again. I think of you when I photograph San Diego or make little videos and I think "Ellen would love to see this." I kind of skipped the part where I posted the photos though. I hope you are well. <3. Wendy
