Emeritus Professors luncheon

I'm in charge of the Emeritus Professors luncheons that are twice a year at MIT.  Sherry Turkle spoke today about her latest book "Reclaiming Conversation" (the paperback version is out today) and it was so interesting.  She talked about how we turn relationships into transactions and how we need the capability to be alone (I've got that down) to have the capability to be with people.  I really enjoyed her talk and am ordering her book today.  #workperk #theretiredprofessorsarereallyinteresting
