About Me
- ellen
- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

oh. Sadness. I miss.
Somehow didn't feel right for us to go enjoy ice cream when other families in Boston were agonizing over their loved ones. We stayed home and found refuge in our little family. Extra good night kisses were offered after everyone fell asleep when we heard the news of the sweet 8 year-old boy who was killed. Sad beyond words.
Ellen, we ended up at Kimball's too, for ice cream and batting cages. I was thinking as we left that I am so glad we have a Kimball's near us. I know my kids will have lots of happy memories from that place, and on a day like yesterday, that becomes even more important.
So I'm coming back for Ragnar the first weekend in May. I am submitting my request that I get to see you at some point. Tara and I are going to Giacammo's on Thursday night and the some if us are doing Kimball's on Saturday night. Please come to both! It'd make me so happy!!
