My friend "Sister" and I meet occasionally during the winter for H.C. (hot chocolate). Tonight we met at Starbucks before she ran off to the Celtics game and I ran off to run some errands. It was fun to catch up with her to swap stories and have a few laughs.
Note: Now that I think of it, I had H.C. and she had S.M. (steamed milk).

- I was born and raised in Van Nuys, California. I moved to Boston sight-unseen and have loved living in New England since that day when I said, "this apartment is OLD". My hobbies are antiquing, reading books and magazines (bring back Blueprint and Domino please), sewing, quilting, sightseeing, watching movies, and photography. I love the color red and have a retro red refrigerator (and kitchen aid mixer and ice cream maker and toaster and...) to prove it! I live in a converted high school and love decorating my loft condo (w/ 18 foot ceilings) that was formerly the auditorium. I have 3 brothers, 11 nieces and nephews, and a bus fleet of friends.

What's steamed milk, anyway? I microwave a mug of milk before bed sometimes... is that the same thing?
Steamed milk is my favorite! I have a Hazelnut Steamer at least once a week from Starbucks. My pocketbook hates me for it but my tummy loves it!

From the weather reports it sounds like you need hot chocolate out there. You are such a good example of keeping in touch with those you care about.
