Tonight I went to dinner with some friends at Wagamama. We were walking around Harvard Square after dinner and decided to have hot chocolate at Burdicks. I've heard rave reviews about their hot chocolate but I've never been. Wow! Now I know what all the fuss is about. It was absolutely delicious.
It's hard to go back to watery Swiss Miss after Burdicks' hot chocolate.
ReplyDeleteMy dad thinks it's the best hot chocolate on the east coast. Which is saying something.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when I interned at the Statehouse, one of my co-worker's fiance owned Wagamama. He was unhappy I hadn't heard of it. Did you like it?
That was one of our favorite places in Boston. When we come back, I think we'll end up getting hot chocolate more than once, if it's up to Nathan!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! I LOVE Burdicks!
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to believe this was your first trip to Burdicks! Here's to many more.
ReplyDeletethere was this famous place in Paris (I can't believe I can't remember the name) but they bring you melted chocolate and sugar and cream, in separate cups and you make your own hot chocolate!! IT WAS AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteWHAT! How is it possible that I've been to Burdick's and you haven't? I'm glad you finally went. It's AMAZING! If you ever need someone to go back with you can always call me. I'm always up for a great cup of Burdick's hot chocolate! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a bag of hot chocolate in my cupboard and finally decided to use some of it -- duh. I was thinking it was probably some low price stuff. IT wasn't! It was pretty good. Then, I made the connection (duh) Burdick's!
ReplyDeletehmmmm. do I save some for Laree when she gets home? Decisions, decisions!
I love Burdicks but had forgotten about it completely--I don't know how that happened. I need hot chocolate now.
