I just had my machine tuned up and I swear it has never sewn so well! Sorry about that, makes you wonder how it can be fine one day and then something like that.
Hey... that looks just like one of MY sewing projects! I'm feeling a sisterhood blooming (until you show me some perfectionism aprons and placemats again).
My sewing machine was doing that the other day. My engineer husband and myself messed with it for no less than an hour and a half trying to fix it. Guess what? It was threaded wrong. I'm sure you're too smart to have done that...
Did you fix it? Try unthreading the machine and rethreading it. Clean out the bobbbin area. It usually works for me. What are you making?

Dear Lord, what is that?!!?!
ReplyDeleteI HATE when that happens!! good luck. And no, I won't take your $5 to fix it!
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is probably the bobbin. I really hate when that happens!
ReplyDeleteOr your thread wasn't in the take-up leaver properly. I hate that when it happens. Especially when I'm low on thread.

ReplyDeleteMe too...because it took me about eleven seconds to even figure out what the problem was. I hate when that happens! Gotta be the bobbin.
