I love that you have the courage to write so honestly. I could really relate.
I mean ... I don't think I have ever barfed on a subway ... but I remember thinking I could wait to pee until after the prayer, only to find during the prayer that I COULDN'T ... and all eyes opening at the end of the prayer and me wondering how to make it past them all without being seen.
The greatest and most wonderful change in my lifetime came with the Declaration # 2 of the Doctrine & Covenants in 1978 when Priesthood and Temple Blessings were extended to all worthy male members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. How wondrous and great it has been.
I pray God's choicest blessings to be upon all the elected leaders of the United States of America, who seek His divine guidance and strive to do all to protect the inalienable rights and freedom of all her lawful abiding citizens. God have mercy on us all, I pray, in the holy name of Jesus Christ - amen. jan (of nanjan)
I am glad that the African American people can now feel that anything is possible for them with this historic event. My prayers will continue to be with the President of our great nation at these troubled times.
