A dear friend sent me this gift that arrived today! I love the color (duh) and that it came with two bowls. One is in the freezer right now. July 4th...ice cream...I can't wait!

I love oreo ice cream overall or heathbar crunch but I love homemade vanilla cream ice cream with chunks of brownies in them. YUM!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite ever is my Oma's peach ice cream. Nothing like homemade.

ReplyDeleteOh, and I am a total ice cream snob. It has to be custard. I worked as a frozen custard scoopee all through high school. It totally made me an ice cream snob. Even when I make homemade ice cream, it has to be custard. OH, I found the BEST German chocolate/pecan/toffee/chocolate chunk custard ice cream recipe. I will totally send it to you.
My favorite is Tutti-Fruitie. It is a family ice cream that we like to enjoy on special days such as the 4th of July. We always have home made on the 4th.

ReplyDeleteHi Ellen- I worked at a small mom 'n pop ice cream store for 3 years in HS (during the summers) and they had this needham ice cream- coconut base with chocolate slivers in it. I also love strawberry cheesecake ice cream! That looks like a really neat ice cream maker!

ReplyDeleteBen and Jerry's has a twisted flavor with heath bar, peanut butter cup, macadamian nuts, and vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I also have a recipe for great chocolate ice cream (very scrumptious)!

I also love Homemade ice cream, we went through a phase were we made ice cream and tried new flavors. Now I have no idea were our ice cream maker is.
I love, love, love Cookies and Cream! The BYU Creamery hands down has the best Cookies and Cream there is.

ReplyDeleteSorry I missed your birthday this year - guess that means you don't have to get any older! We have this same ice cream maker. We love to make pumpkin ice cream in it. I'm too late for the contest, now that I live in the pacific time zone, but I love dark chocolate ice cream. Mmmm. And I love you!
